Quinn Rosé is made by artisans in Provence who have been making rosé since 1922 approximately 20 miles north of St Tropez. Our grapes are sourced from around 600 hectares of vines in the heart of the Appellation Côtes de Provence, just north of the famous beaches of St Tropez. The vines are located in the limestone foothills of the Maures massif in the southern Var which is between the Mediterranean Sea and the Alps. This terroir benefits from a Mediterranean climate perfect for traditional southern varietals first planted by the Romans centuries ago.
The varietals are Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Carignan. Sometimes with a little Rolle or Mourvedre too! The parcels are vinified separately, allowing for more character and complexity, and then blended just like the finest champagnes, to produce a consistent taste from vintage to vintage.
Our winemaker regularly wins numerous awards at competitions such as the Mondial du Rosé and the Concours General Agricole.
